How we handle your business data.

208Werx works inside the systems that run your business, which means we take on real responsibility for your information and your customers' information. Here is how we think about that.

Your data stays yours
208Werx connects to the tools you already use in order to do work on your behalf. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your customers' information to build products for anyone else.
Least access, not all access
Each connection we set up is scoped to what the automation actually needs. If a workflow doesn't need access to something, we don't ask for it.
Recording and transcription is a decision you make
Some of what 208Werx does — summarizing a call, capturing what was promised — depends on recording or transcription. Recording consent law varies by state, and in some states every party on the call has to consent. We'll walk through exactly what gets recorded, who has to be told, and how notice is given before anything is switched on.
People can see what the system did
Anything 208Werx handles is recorded as a plain-language entry a person can review. A system working quietly in the background should still be able to show its work.

Being finalised

Our formal data-retention, sub-processor, and consent documentation is being finalised with counsel. Until it is published here, we go through all of it directly with every business we work with — ask us and we'll put it in writing.
